8th Archi Camp- Mukah

#throwback

Architecture Students Association organized a 2-day-1-night camp to Mukah Kingwood resort on 14/6-15/6. This is the 8th Archi camp organized by the association since 2012. 46 students participated in the camp and led by 2 lecturers. The group departed from College at 7:30am, and arrived at Kingwood resort around 11:00am. The program began with flags design and kite making. This was followed by station games in the afternoon. Some of the games were stationed at the swimming pool, and students enjoyed swimming and had lots of fun.

At night, every group was given the task to build a house by using the newspaper to occupy all group members. This mission requires basic knowledge of building construction and teamwork. Some groups were able to build it with simple method, yet strong structure. Kite flying competition was carried out the next morning. Only one group was able to fly their hand-made kite, but this was a good experience for some of the students, as they never flew a kite before. Dance performance happened later that morning. The camp adjourned at 1:30pm on 15/6. This Architecture camp developed bond between juniors and seniors, and also leadership skills among students.
